Some of Elabor8’s founding visions were to be actively involved in the BA community, be thought leaders and actively work to professionalise Business Analysis.
To this aim last year we began the process to get involved more heavily with the IIBA (International Institute for Business Analysis) in Australia.
We are extremely proud to announce that two of our own have been appointed to roles with the IIBA here in Australia.
Andrew has been appointed to the Member Services Portfolio and is responsible for providing compelling learning and development opportunities for Business Analysts and increasing membership of the local chapter. Having spent considerable effort building the professional development framework for our consultants over the past 12 months and this makes him the ideal person for this role.
Denton Currin is a Lead Consultant at Elabor8 and has been appointed to the “Workforce Management” role within the IIBA Victoria Branch.
Denton will be responsible for managing the IIBA volunteer workforce. This will involve analysing the workforce needs of all initiatives within the Victoria Branch and then recruiting and matching the right volunteer to activities as and when they are needed.
If you are a BA reading this and are interested in getting involved with the IIBA I am sure Denton would love to hear from you. You will benefit by meeting very knowledgeable business analysts and increasing your profile within the BA community.
Congratulations to both Andrew and Denton. We’re sure you’ll both make a positive impact on the community.
